ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR
Working in larger environmental teams you can often feel like just another employee with responsibilities shared and broad, and no key accountabilities or the opportunity to directly solve problems.
Stop feeling limited: Working for most part autonomously and reporting to the Resident Manager, be a key figure in this organization, as you represent the entire environmental aspect of the project.
What this means for you:
- Coordinate the approvals process with specialist consultants
- Monitor all statutory reporting and environmental performanc
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Choice in FIFO roster, days on site can be flexible
Having responsibility for the environmental management means the Resident Manager will expect you to always have a plan of action to continually improve standards. Changes will come from your idea’s and driven by your initiative, but you will always have the support of the Resident Manager for guidance and advice. This safety net means you have a constant chance to show you what you can do.
As you would understand tertiary qualifications within an environmental discipline for this role are a given, accompanied with at least 7years experience in an environmental management role within the mining sector with experience to the approvals process.
