CIVIL PLANNER. $212K - $183K. PLANNERS in demand ?
As you are aware, in the last 6 months, the demand for Planners has risen steadily. The likely cause of this is greater amounts of work due to Mining and Oil and Gas projects dropping.
The client is looking for someone who is experienced enough, to head out to site, and be left to their own devices. There will be no baby sitter, and you will be accountable for your own work, ensuring that all targets are be met.
Progressively growning, over the last 18 months, a work book of $100M, has quickly ballooned out to the $400M+ mark.
A 50% growth is forecast for this year, the client is not worried about where the work is going to come from ... because they have it. With this growth forecast they are being proactive (in their talent acquisition) as opposed to being reactive, like the rest of the market.
