Mine Geologist Underground $138K-$119K Own Project?
At your level you will have been exposed to some minor project work. They run things a little differently so every Mine Geologist is responsible for their own orebody. The project work involves drilling, interpretations and modeling. Liaising with the resources team on what direction to take.
This major Australian metals producer is starting up new pits on top of the already successful underground operations. This will give exposure across both mining methods to expand skills further.
This well rounded experience prepares for future Senior opportunities in the expansion of production and team by 50%. With a strong promote from within attitude you won’t be overlooked.
This is a FIFO role on a 8/6 roster with benefits including higher super and bonuses up to 20%.
Ideally you will have a background in open pit mine geology for the past 2-3 years and hold a B.Sc Geology (or related discipline).
