SENIOR CONTRACTS OFFICER

Applications are now sought from appropriately experienced professionals for a key role in our Maritime business located in Rockingham, Western Australia. As the Senior Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling all contractual transactions within the ANZAC Alliance Delivery Organisation (AADO). The Alliance overseas all necessary maintenance and upgrades to the ANZAC Class frigate ships.
Your principal accountabilities will include:
• Preparing and managing contracts.
• Ensuring contractual processes are effectively administered and complying with AADO and industry policies and procedures.
• Providing advice, guidance and interpretation with regard to all contractual and commercial matters in the achievement of business objectives.
• Ensuring contracts are closed out promptly and effectively.
• Preparing results and contract reviews as appropriate.
As the ideal applicant, you will have:
• Substantial demonstrated experience of contract administration.
• Demonstrated experience in a direct customer/supplier relationship management.
• Excellent leadership skills and possess an excellent knowledge of key aspects of contract administration.
• The ability to understand, analyse and communicate the commercial consequences of specific initiatives.
