Here is the perfect opportunity to utilise your accounting abilities in the field of Contracts Management.
Our client is a very dynamic and forward thinking global organisation that is growing constantly due to their commercially astute approach to business.
Located north of the river, you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager who is a brilliant mentor who has significance experience and knowledge in the areas of finance and commercial accounting.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting the commercial and sales team to negotiate commercial terms and conditions
- Documenting non conforming commercial terms and conditions and obtaining approvals
- Weekly reporting on status of contractual negotiations
- Summarise contractual information for stakeholders
- Process detailed sales orders promptly and accurately
- Identify areas of improvement in the Contracts Management Process
- Identify areas of risk in relations to the company’s activities
- Assist the Commercial Manager in ensuring risks are appropriately managed and reported
To be successful in this role you will possess the following requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Law
- Qualified CA/CPA or Qualified Legal Practitioner
- Strong management accounting and reporting skills
- Understanding of legal concepts applicable to commercial contracts
- Customer focus
Ideally you would have experience in working with international organisations, experience in dealing with foreign currencies, and experience in managing insurance risks.
