Database Administrator & GIS Geologist positions – Perth Based
Database Administrator –
- Perth Based (Monday to Friday)
- Mid Tier Gold Producer
- Responsible for development and processing of data associated with drilling activities
- Yo u don’t necessarily need to be GIS or Geology trained
- It is more about your IT Knowledge - acQuire skills a must
- Experience working in a similar role within the mining industry is required - Acquire software essential
Geological Database Administrator –
- Successful gold producer and explorer
- Perth Based position
- Working within a small team – involve entry of geological data to SQL database
- Responsible for SQL Server maintenance
- QAQC reporting, production of micromine plans and sections, database script and query writing
- Skills – GBIS/Geobank. Working knowledge of Arcmap, Micromine, Vulcan and Explorer - Worked within the mining industry
Project Exploration GIS Specialist –
- Involved in the exploration projects – Perth Based.
- Project planning and supervision
- Planning and leading project activities
- Provide improvement ideas of field programs
- Incorporate the latest relevant technology and systems
- Train and mentor staff on GIS
- Look after the GIS data management
- Assist with the development of the exploration
- Involved in licence approvals, mapping and modelling, targeting, program proposals +
- 5+ years as an Exploration Geologist
- Solid experience in GIS and Geological Data Management Software
- Ability to plan and manage Exploration and Mine Geology projects
Database Administrator -
- 100% Perth Based - Flexible hours - Full time
- Manage the Exploration database and provide geological solutions to this gold producer
- Autonomous role
- Interpret and compile geological data
- Make improvements to the already existing database
- Bachelor of Science - Exploration geology experience and high level of computer literacy (preferably SQL)
