We are searching for an experienced, talented and successful EVENTS SALES MANAGER to join one of Australia's most successful hotel groups. Leading a talented and professional events sales team you will be responsible for maintaining current business relationships as well as expanding market share and securing new clientele. Liaising with clients on a daily basis you will be the first point of contact for all events from weddings, corporate and social events and will work to ensure their requests are met and exceeded. Your exceptional sales skills will see you securing opportunities to attract new business to the hotel and working with the sales team to promote the hotel and conference and events facilities.
To be successful in this role you will need:
•Previous experience in a similar role within a 4/5 star hotel
•Experience in organising and managing events on various levels
•Staff management
•Excellent attention to detail
•Excellent time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
•Solid food and beverage knowledge
